This is my favorite page on my web site! You know folks….people often ask me why I concentrate on helping Veterans and Active Military people? To them I say “this is a very small way I can say thank you to them for serving our country”, by helping them utilize their benefits for the purchase of a home.

When I was on the phone with the Texas Veterans Land Board, I told them what Pat told me and they said, “Well, if Pat Fitzgerald said it, it must be true. He is the most knowledgeable person in Texas on the process.” Now that is comforting to hear!

I don’t know how to express what I think and feel about Pat Fitzgerald because of all the good he has done for me.
He was able to restore my VA home loan accessibility in a couple of days. No one has EVER tried to help me correct an injustice done me when I made my first VA Home Loan. It had always been a thorn in my heart because I had worked Sooo hard to get it but in the end was burned badly. Over thirty years of trying to get the injustice corrected to no avail, Pat jumped on it and Bam. It was done.
I will as long as I live, remember Pat telling me to go find myself a home. Thirty years and finally one man heard me and reached out to help me. Thank you Mr. Pat Fitzgerald. I am trying to find the typewriter keys through my joyful tears as I am writing this.
He made himself available to me every time I called him. He even took my calls when he was ill and home sick. He answered any questions I had along the way and he smoothed every bump put in my way. I cannot say enough good about him or his wife who came to my rescue and though I have never met either of them face to face I can tell you I will always have a lifetime of gratitude for them offering their professional skills to benefit me. Every time I put my key in my door I will be acknowledging that they cared enough to help me get that key.
Trust no other person you will work with on purchasing your home like you will trust Pat. Many people tried to sway me to their local lenders but be smart and stick with the only person that puts honesty before the Dollar and the person is PATRICK FITZGERALD. If he can make home buying a reality for me, he will do it for you too. I am a service connected disabled Air Force veteran and I would not recommend anyone to you under a false pretense. When my wife and I decided to move to a larger home, we were presented with many financing options. I wanted to use my Texas Veteran benefits, but was assured by the first finance company that this would take an extended length of time and their rates on a conventional mortgage were just as competitive.
I looked on the internet and came across Patrick Fitzgerald’s website www.texas-vet-loans.com
I submitted my name and number and expected a call or letter in a day or so. Much to my surprise Pat called me within a couple of hours. From that point on, the least frustrating and easiest part of my home buying experience was dealing with Pat. Pat gave me his cell phone and told me to call at any time with any questions.
The Sunday afternoon that we made an offer on our house I did just that, we needed our realtor to talk with Pat to tie down some contract details. He was more than obliging and everything went off smoothly.
Dealing with Pat seemed more like working with a long time friend than a mortgage institution several hundred miles away. I would recommend anyone to talk with Pat for a home buying experience with a lot less stress.
